So it is now 2013. Which is hopefully going to be a good year. I don't really have that much to talk about on this blog today; I haven't really had that much to talk about at all lately, which is why I haven't been doing blogs.
Which is kind of a lie. I've been writing blogs, but then once they're typed out and I read it over, I always end up deleting it, because most of the time, my life is kind of boring, and I just think "who would want to read about the boring details of my life?" But at the same time, I understand that this blog is mostly for me, so I can read it over years from now to remember what my life was like.
As you can see, my background has changed. It totally doesn't match the header of my blog, but I do not care. I found the image while searching for pictures of the Tardis on google, and thought it would be wonderful for a background image.
Joe and I have been watching far too many zombie related movies and shows lately. This wouldn't normally be a problem, except it appears that either squirrels or raccoons have taken up residence in our attic, and they are loud. So when I'm home alone and all kinds of bumps and scritchy noises start coming from the attic, I immediately think its zombies. I thought about throwing the cats up into the attic to find and fight whatever is up there, but these two are terrified of little bitty mice, so I doubt they can tackle whatever is making all the noise.
My husband might be getting a new job soon, which would mean we would have to move farther south so he could be closer to work. If this happens, I will likely be looking for a new job myself. I love my job, but not so much that I'm wasting gas to drive for an hour and a half.
This year, I'm going to try to post more. I still have to finish the 30 day blog challenge and the picture challenge, and I've all but completely given up on posting about dinners I make. I will be tackling Homemade Olive Garden Lasagna Fritta again at some point this year, so that should be fun. I'm also starting a running routine, which will actually start tomorrow with some walking. I might end up blogging about that. The point is, this blog could go any direction in the coming year; all I need to do is find things to do besides work and read to blog about.

ReplyDeleteWrong! You are very interesting and I love the Tardis background. Doctor Who is my idol.... well that is a lie, Batman is my idol. I do love Doctor Who though. I know what you mean about writing and deleting blogs. I have deleted 30 or so and I have 17 unfinished drafts. Lol... Best of luck to you and yours for 2013!!!!
